Volunteer Planning Committees
The following six committees are currently having a great time planning for RiverSong 2010! These are active committees that value the participation of committee members in order to get the festival projects done in time for the July 2010 festival dates. If you have time available and resources to offer and would like to be a part of a RiverSong 2009 planning committee, please contact info@riversongfestival.org for more information.
RiverSong Planning Committees
Finance Committee
Committee Chair: Hal Peterson
Responsibilities: Applying for grants, finding sponsors, developing budgets, and allocating resources.
Marketing Committee
Committee Chair: Megan Peterson
Responsibilities: Developing branding and marketing materials, placing advertising, & public relation efforts.
Site & Security Committee
Committee Chair: John Rodeberg
Responsibilities: Working with city departments and local businesses to plan locations and security for events
Technology Committee
Committee Chair: John Nordling
Responsibilities: Coordinating lighting, staging, electrical, and technical needs of the festival.
Talent Committee
Committee Chair: Betsy Price
Responsibilities: Securing all music and arts entertainment for the festival.
Guest Relations/Hospitality Committee
Committee Chair: Megan Peterson
Responsibilities: Coordinating accommodations, ticketing, transportation, and festival communications.
Volunteer Coordination
Committee Chair: Bridget Block
Responsibilties: Coordinating the volunteer efforts for the festival weekend and special activities.
