A little math here for you...don't worry, it is easy stuff! Advanced tickets to RiverSong 2012 for both days are just $21 per person. Our lineup is incredible! We have pulled performers in from all corners of the nation from the established groups to up and coming artists. RiverSong selects top quality performers that will offer festival goers with a wide variety of musical styles, including blues, jazz, soul, bluegrass, roots, americana and more (check out the lineup). So what is the cost per talented artist or band? Well $21 divided by the 15 main artists (not including the kids tent performers).........
...that's just $1.40 per artist/band! Hmmm. When's the last time you paid something like that for a show? Quite a few of us have seen some of these groups in places with a $20 cover charge. RiverSong believes in making music available to the masses. Beautiful! With the financial support of area businesses an grant funding, we are trying to keep ticket prices low.
